Current Opportunities

Bartender

The hotel is looking for an experienced bartender to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. Reports to Food & Beverage Manager.

Primary responsibilities are include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages
  • Provide customer services such as take orders, serve food and drinks
  • Interact with customers to provide recommendations based on customer preferences
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails to our required specifications
  • Check customer identification to confirm legal drinking age
  • Inventory and restock bar supplies
  • Comply with food and beverage regulation
  • Understanding of menu and food preparations
  • Proper cash handling procedures
  • Maintains a clean working environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Resume and completed application to show proven experience as a bartender
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Computer/Point of Sale literacy
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of wine and beer selections

During busy times, our bartenders will be under pressure to serve customers quickly, efficiently and with customer focused attitude.  Bartenders can expect to work late evenings, weekends and holidays. Bartenders should be able to stand, reach, lift up to 20 lbs., read and follow recipes and instructions.


AM/PM Server

Primary responsibilities are include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for quality guests’ experience
  • Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel special and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
  • Make specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system before taking item to the table.
  • Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
  • Pre-bus tables between each course.
  • Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists.
  • Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
  • Provide proactive beverage and bread refills.
  • Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, and process through the POS system.
  • Return change to the guest quickly.
  • Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers before they ask.
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
  • Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience.

Part-Time Coffee Bar Barista 

Primary responsibilities are include but are not limited to:

  • Greets all customers with a friendly smile.
  • Honors customers by providing quick, friendly, and personal service.
  • Initiates dialogue and develops rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
  • Generates customer satisfaction; responds appropriately to customer concerns.
  • Communicates customer complaints/concerns to Manager.
  • Accurately processes transactions through the POS and counts back change to customers.
  • Answers the café telephone in a friendly manner using a professional greeting.
  • Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
  • Maintains the highest level of standards for all product preparation.
  • Adheres to all recipes and measurements.
  • Produces superior product presentation.
  • Educates customers on products and services.
  • Provides top quality espresso shots for hot and cold beverages.
  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Communicates with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality & service.
  • Assists in the opening and/or closing of the café; a checklist will be provided.
  • Initiates suggestive selling and sampling of products.
  • Contributes to the profitability of the café by finding new methods of selling products.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Communicate verbally with coworkers, management and guests.
  • Read, county, and write to complete all documentation required.
  • Handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Work successfully as part of a team, while under pressure.
  • Operate and use all equipment necessary for operation.
  • Move or handle merchandise.
  • Work varied hours/days based on business needs.
  • Frequently use hand and finger motions, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Handle food and hot beverages.
